QUICK DRYING HIGH BUILD MICACEOUS IRON OXIDE COATING REF: - 53L60

A high build, quick drying micaceous iron oxide coating providing a tough and durable finish for external steelworks.  Particularly suitable where long term protection is required.  It may be applied over a range of FIESTA priming systems.  Suitable for application by airless spray, conventional spray, brush or roller.

SURFACE PREPARATION

 

Ensure surface is free from rust, moisture, oil or other surface contamination.  Blast clean to BS 4232:1967 or Second quality - Swedish standard 2.5.

 

APPLICATION

 

AIRLESS SPRAY               Nozzle Size 18-21 thou, Fan Angle - 80°, Tip Pressure 2000-2500 p.s.i.

CONVENTIONAL           Nozzle Size - 50 thou, Atomising Pressure - 50 p.s.i, Fluid Pressure - 10 p.s.i.

Refer to M.S.D.S. prior to use. Xylene Based Products

 

Provide adequate ventilation.  Prolonged skin contact inhalation of vapour must be avoided.  Eye contamination  - Flush with eyewash or warm water for 10 mins.  Clean hands after use.
