CHLORINATED RUBBER ZINC PHOSPHATE PRIMER HIGH BUILD

A high build, quick drying zinc phosphate chlorinated rubber primer ideal for over coating blast cleaned steel.  Ideal for use on structural steelwork in chemical or marine environments.  Also suitable for application over suitably etched galvanised surfaces.  Complies with BS 5493 system reference HP1B.  Suitable for application by airless spray.

SURFACE PREPERATION

 

Ensure surface is free from rust, moisture, oil or other surface contamination.  Blast cleaning to BS 4232:4967.  Second quality - Swedish standard S.A. 2.5.

 

APPLICATION

 

AIRLESS SPRAY               Nozzle Size 18-21 thou, Fan Angle 80°, Tip Pressure 2000-2500 p.s.i.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY

Refer to M.S.D.S. prior to use. Xylene Based Products

 

Provide adequate ventilation.  Prolonged skin contact inhalation of vapour must be avoided.  Eye contamination  - Flush with eyewash or warm water for 10 mins.  Clean hands after use.
